Grimm and Sugar: When the Raindrops fall
The rain steadily fell outside the cave. Sugar watched the drops fall into a torrential downpour. She was thankful she had made it inside before she could get completely drenched. Well, she was thankful “They” were able to make it. She felt a drip upon her nose, and a slight bob of her curly blond hair spurred her to look up. If anything this made her move close to the makeshift fire they had made. Holding out her claws, she let the fire warm her cold-blooded body, sending a quick spurt of flame to keep the fire going. For a moment she worried if they had gotten enough wood. They had gathered plenty before this. It always paid to be preemptively prepared. That was a lesson Tamara had taught her.
